Hey all,

If you missed the exciting opening of the art exhibit at the Galleries at Moore College of Arts this Friday, fear not as the show runs until October 13th 2009. Check out the details here- www.thegalleriesatmoore.org.

Included in the summer long Bicycle Exhibit will be Saturday, July 18, 1 - 4 pm Bikes & Trikes Family Fun Day on Aviator Park - FREE
An afternoon on the park in front of Moore for kids and their families
featuring free hands-on kinetic art activities by Neighborhood Bike
Works, bike parade, refreshments, bike safety demos by the Bicycle
Ambassadors, music and more.








Call for Artists!
The 7th annual Bike Part Art Show benefiting Neighborhood Bike Works is coming
August 28-September 18 at Studio 34 in West Philadelphia,
with the silent auction and party on September 18. Hooray! Now is the time to
make any and every kind of art and craft inspired by cycling and/or made with
bike parts! We'll show it off, then use the auction proceeds to run our free
earn-a-bike classes for Philadelphia
kids. 
Bike Part Raids
Need parts for your work? Join us at Neighborhood Bike Works in West Philly to
root through our scrap pile and take what you like. You'll find wheels,
bearings, brake cables, frames, derailleurs, grips, spoke nipples, chain, and
other sweet components. They're not solid enough to ride, but they make great
art! The next raids are:
Thursday July 9, 6:30 - 9:00 pm
Sunday July 19, 6:30 - 9:00 pm

All raids are at Neighborhood Bike Works located in the basement of St.
Mary's Church, 3916 Locust Walk on the campus of the University of

to let us know when you're coming, then submit your work at one of the times
and places below. Conact us to make alternate arrangements.

and bring it with your work.

3. Drop off your work at one of these times:
