Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby

Hello Kenzo Kinetic Believers,

We are seeking volunteers to help us make the event the best it can be. We need your ideas, your helping spreading the word and your human power to put on the event on May 22nd! Derby Day!
Join thousands of people who come to Kensington each May to witness the
krazy Kenzokinetical madness as well as shop top-notch local arts and
craft vendors, eat tasty foods, drink tasty local brews and listen to
rockin local tunes! 

The Trenton Avenue Arts Fest starts at 12noon and runs until 5pm.
Get there by noon to catch the derby leave and stay to see the mud pit
finish line and hear the awards ceremony!

The Fest benefits the non-profit organization that hosts the fest- the ever-awesome East Kensington Neighbors Association. They help us make the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby super awesome!

Come
learn about how to get involved in this year's derby and fest, meet
potential team mates, sign up to be a vendor or a team. Or just show up
and support the cause by buying a limited Edition T -Shirt ($15), or
raffle tickets ($1) to win cool prizes! Free to attend, refreshments
will be served.

We are still accepting Sponsors for the derby. Sponsors help make
the derby possible through providing products and services that are
critical to the event, donating gift certificates and products for
prizes, and cash to help with all the stuff we have to pay for every
year! Sponsors get a lot of exposure through our website, Septa ads
(seen by thousands daily), our print and web ads, and our promotional
materials. Please see our sponsorship packet here, pass it on to anyone you think might be interested. The deadline for Sponsors at the $500 or above level is Wednesday March 17th 2010.
