Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby

Only 1 more day to register your team for this year's KKSD!

1. Tomorrow is Baltimore's Kinetic Sculpture Race! This will be their 12th race and you should consider heading down 95 to visit them and get inspired. Organized by the American Visionary Art Museum, it's an event NOT to be missed, especially when sculptures go into the bay in the Inner Harbor! May 1st from 9:30am-4:30pm, with the bay entry from 11am-1:15pm and the mudpit from 1:30-3pm. Details are here-

2. Registrations for both the Kinetic Sculpture Derby and Vendors for the Arts Fest are due THIS SATURDAY MAY 1st! This year we will have a program guide with info about each team! Please email me your team's bio including contact info (like website/emails) for all artists or the group or organization, a brief description of your sculpture and what inspired it and a photo! I need that along with your payment and waiver by MAY 1st. Registration is only $25 for your team $5 per T-shirt.

We still need people to help make the KKSD happen! WE NEED PEOPLE TO HELP FLYER ON FIRST FRIDAY- MAY 7th. We need people to flyer, escort the parade, manage mud, and help collect People's Choice awards. Email Kathryn at kdoherty@nkcdc.org if you are interested (or just reply to this email).
